"Butterfly"
Acrylic on wood panel, 12in x 12in, 2022
This piece was inspired by the Botanical Garden of Santiago in the Dominican Republic. I have always liked the open spaces and on my last trip to my home country, I was able to enjoy this new space and I was captivated by the beauty of their butterfly cage and how peaceful it was.

"One Square, Four Pieces"
Acrylic on canvas panel, 6 in x 6 in (per panel), 2022.

"Bathroom Fireworks"
Acrylic on Canvas, 20 in x 16 in, 2022
You never know when inspiration is going to hit and this piece is a proof of it. This piece was inspired by the color reflection of some fireworks outside my apartment in the Bronx during a New Year's celebration. This piece is full of color, but only using the same hues to reinforce the idea of the night atmosphere. Also, some people have said that it is the outside view instead of the inside. What do you think?

"Golden Female"
Acrylic on Canvas, 20 in x 16 in, 2022
I created this piece on a moment where the females lost their power and freedom of choosing over their bodies. This piece represents how I think we look in the eyes of a politician, because I believe they saw us as an object on a shelf that they control and force us to follow their rules.

"Untitled I"
Acrylic on Canvas, 8 in x 10 in, 2022

"Diablo Cojuelo"
Acrylic on Canvas, 20 in x 16 in, 2022
This piece was inspired by the carnival of Santiago de los caballeros and this is where it got its name from. The diablos cojuelos are the traditional costume and character of the carnival in my country and to fight the home sickness, I decided to make this piece in reference to their colors.

"Leftover"
Acrylic on Canvas, 20 in x 16 in, 2022

"Untitled II"
Acrylic on Canvas, 20 in x 16 in, 2022

"Silver Pigeon"
Acrylic on Canvas, 8 in x 10 in, 2022
This piece is the result of an experimentation process, where I used everyday objects to created, like the use of a strow to create the blow effect in the background.

"Precious Pen"
Acrylic on Canvas, 8 in x 10 in, 2022

"One Hand, Two Hands"
Acrylic on Canvas, 10 in x 10 in, 2022
This piece is based on the shadows our hands create when in front of a light; and how it could be seen as two hands when it is only one hand.
